CroneWorks Practical Spirituality Series with co-sponsorship from NASW-NC presents our 4th Annual Women's Retreat:

Spiral To The Dream
... And Awaken To Connection

Friday, October 9 - Sunday, October 11, 2009
Trinity Center - Emerald Isle, NC

Space available to only 24 women!

Facilitated by Deb Bowen, MSW, LCSW
Co-Sponsored by NASW-NC

General Information: The spiral has long been a symbol of connected movement – of going within and coming out.  Women have always been the keepers of the spiral – the Great Earth Mother Nurturers.  We also keep the Dream of a better world.  This intimate retreat affords us the opportunity to participate in the Great Gift-Giving Spiral as we bring forth this Dream we keep.

At our first CroneWorks retreat, we developed ways women create peace in themselves, their work and the world.  At our second retreat, we imbued ourselves with courage to follow our convictions.  Last year, we looked deep within ourselves to find who we truly are – and celebrated our core being!  We are honored to have you join us this year!

Mission Statement:  Today, more than ever, women are needed to bring balance and light to an ailing planet.  We can do so by learning to nurture ourselves, our brothers and sisters, and Mother Earth herself.  This retreat provides each woman opportunities to commit to spiritual fulfillment, social justice, and environmental action by finding what resonates for her.

Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this retreat, participants will be able to:

1. Examine the concept of the nurturing of self and others.
2. Develop tools for honoring themselves and others.
3. Integrate knowledge and tools gained into action at home, at work, and in their community.
4. Become more involved citizens at a global level by a greater awareness of diverse cultures.

Continuing Education:  A certificate of attendance reflecting up to five hours of continuing education contact hours can be provided.  Consult with your licensing organization for approval.

Same low cost as last year:  $275.00 double occupancy for prior attendees/NASW members; $315.00 single occupancy for prior attendees/NASW members; $10.00 additional cost for new attendees/non-NASW members.

Checks payable to:
