Wild Woman Finds Home!
About CroneWorks and our Presenters
|
CroneWorks, founded
by Deb Bowen, is a collaboration of people who promote peace
and spiritual understanding around the world.
CroneWorks Practical Spirituality Series was initiated in
2006 when Deb and Rev. Etta Breit hosted the First Annual
Women's Retreat with Creating Peace as its theme. In
spring 2007 the series hosted an Altars and Rituals
Workshop. In fall 2007 the theme for the second Annual
Women's Retreat was Finding Courage. In April 2008 we
hosted a Croning Ceremony for wise women (Crone is the
Celtic word for "wise").
Deb
Bowen, MSW, LCSW creates
spiritual programs, leads travelers to sacred places, and is
a psychotherapist, university lecturer, and writer.
She believes that honoring the divine within us all brings
common ground. She is a licensed clinical social
worker and interfaith minister.
Susan
Bollinger, RN
is a registered nurse who currently works in a private
medical practice in Wilmington, NC. She also is invited to
speak all over the country at family retreats for patients
diagnosed with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency Disorder. Two
of her passions are education and empowerment of patients to
make their own decisions regarding their health care. This
passion grows from Susan's belief that we all have the
responsibility and power to take control of our lives. A
spiritual explorer, Susan, has spent many years discovering
and refining her own beliefs. She has found that if growth
is to continue the process never ends.
Raven
Chitalo, BSW is a basket
weaver, jewelry maker, and lover of crafty-things. She
has just returned from 3 1/2 years in the Peace Corps in
Zambia, where she was a community health worker, teaching
about HIV prevention. She is a newlywed who is very
excited about life's adventures and enjoying the gifts of
communion with Wise Women, rituals, and discovering the
Divine.
Sherry
Lovett, BA
holds a BA in Education and, after teaching public school
for ten years, now homeschools her daughter and leads a
homeschool co-op. She is also a professional
storyteller working for schools, libraries, and private
organizations. Sherry has always been a spiritual
seeker and continues to grow and learn. Her most
recent discovery is the power of the Divine Feminine, which
has given her strength and courage to seek new dreams and
live a life of abundance.
Nancy
Ramsaur, RN, CHTP
is a retired Cape Fear Community College nursing instructor.
She has spent years in adult education, teaching childbirth
and dula courses and energy work. She received
certification as a Home Birth Attendant in 1976 and as a
Certified Dula in 1996. She has been a Certified Touch
Practitioner through Healing Touch International since 1997.
She has been a Stone Carrier of the Apache White Shell Woman
Healing Circle since 2002. Nancy lives in Wilmington,
where she has reared five children and has six
grandchildren.
